Thank you for reading this far, as I believe a little bit of history is sometimes good to understand what I'm about to share next.
Today we have almost 70 active members and we're able to fill a day with between 52 and 60 players. The success of Strugglers lies in few simple things — our brotherhood, our transparency on all matters and our loyalty towards the Society.
I believe we're at the start of a new era for Strugglers. One that excites me as we stretch our wings and take flights to give back to the community that has helped us thus far. One to see us grow into an even bigger Society that can donate to good causes, one that can assist young golfers where needed and one that can continue setting an example that together we can achieve more than alone.
We are proud of our humble beginnings and our struggles — it keeps us humble and rooted. We are proud of our brotherhood that grows through golf and about the friends we make along the way. We are proud of our traditions, yet open to going into the future, willing to adapt to the changing needs of technology and social media, without losing who we are.
To my current members and committee — I'm proud to walk beside you on this journey! The role you play in each other's journeys is more than you realise and bigger than you can imagine. It is indeed a privilege to lead. Thank you for trusting my vision and allowing me to serve you.
